Obstacle Illusions!

Have you ever had an idea or something that you wanted to achieve? Only to talk yourself out of achieving it. Some people talk themselves out of a dream because of perceived obstacles. Some ways you can conquer obstacle illusions:

Look to the end result – When you concentrate and think of the positive end result your subconscious starts to find ways to achieve it.

Ask yourself – Is this obstacle real? Is it happening right now or is it an obstacle that might happen? Focusing too far in the future wastes your energy on what might happen. Instead use your energy on what is going on right now.

Gain perspective – Sometimes there may be a true obstacle, but your thoughts have tricked you in to thinking the obstacle is bigger than it truly is.

Think positive – Very successful people think of positive outcomes. They use this for momentum. When a true obstacle does appear, you will have the positive energy to use your creativity to find a solution and hurdle you past it.

Make it happen - You move the needle in the direction you want to go. Don’t let outside forces direct you. That is like sitting in the driver’s seat of your car and letting someone else control the steering wheel.

Believe it will happen - Period!

Never give up – you really don’t know how close you are to success. It could be right around the next obstacle.

Be like my dog - She is 14 and rarely, and I mean rarely, catches her ball in her mouth. The ball usually takes a few bounces and then bounces off her face, or she misses it all together, but she happily brings the ball back to me with her tail wagging and waits for me to throw it again. She never thinks of the failure only the belief that she will catch the next one.
